Heroes:

Sam Pelletier
The Artist. The guy who made this all happen. The greatest guy in the wo- er, gotta love self-insertion! Heh heh. He has a very active imagination, though sometimes he can be a downright realist. He loves to argue with other people, often about things he doesn't understand.

Peter Hug
Listens to punk rock and carries a big stick. He packs a punch with his... uh... punches, but he isn't all brawn. He's got a calmer, intellectual side which enjoys the many pleasures of reading, and a dextrous ability which allows him to make even the finest of saudering on any motherboard possible.

JP Konkurat
JP is an uncontested troublemaker. He outdoes himself by getting in more trouble than he actually participates in. Frequent detentions have jaded him, however, to this fact, and nobody can stop him from getting what he wants when he wants it.

Taras Chekaluk
He doesn't like you to make fun of his accent, though he doesn't mind making fun of Shwartzanegger's. Taras is impulsive and oft enthusiastic. He usually goes out on a limb to prove a point, only to find out nobody's noticed.

Gene Morrow
Much like a 16th century blacksmith, Gene is passionate about swords. Much like a 20th century hacker, he is also passionate about the online text-based environment and the "Golden Age of hacking". These two characteristics combine in a neat little package that thinks that elves are the coolest! in order to form Gene.

Alex Dekleva

He dodges around inoffensive language as deftly as he does players during a soccer game. He oft teams up with JP in order to perform exploits beyond compare due to their combined chaotic nature.

Villains:

Marko Grandic
A.K.A. "Croatia". He knows no rules, has no self control or dicipline, and has a penchant for destruction. He is also Alex's soccer nemesis. He has an infatuation with computers, despite having little knowledge of what they are and how to use them.

Angelo Fotiou
Marko's co-hort and assistant. Angelo could probably perform better with a computer, considering the fact that they do most of their dirty work on a keyboard, but probably not much better. Angelo's reputation as being slightly slow in the membrane is put to the test as things heat up.

The Xirian Virus
It started out as Chris' artificial intelligence project, but once infected with the El Beso de la Puta virus, it quickly gained true sentience, and grew EVIL! Its digital nature gives it an almost godly advantage in the realm of cyberspace.

Simon
Though Simon isn't really a villain, he won't stand for people messing around with his network. As the administrator, his cool and sometimes icy attitude is the way to get things done, and done right.

Bedard
The Chinless Freak returns. While he holds the same loyalty to the rules as Simon does, he doesn't stop there. He will go out of his way to get our heroes in detention. He has an eye out for JP and anyone he happens to be with at the time, despite the fact that he, as well as the surrounding group of people, aren't doing anything wrong and that others are comitting far worse crimes elsewhere!
